Only digital waivers and rosters are accepted for teams racing at Dragon Boat BC events. Please submit these online at register.dragonboatbc.ca. Free online clinics to show team managers how to use the online system are regularly held, and are open for registration online at register.dragonboatbc.ca.

The FreshCo Richmond Dragon Boat Festival does not require that women’s teams have female steers. Women’s teams at the Festival may have a male steersperson.

NOTE: New rules and regulations for the following year are issued in late Fall/Winter each year.

Racer’s Village and Info Documents

2024 Racer Village Tent Assignments – posted August 19th 

• The 2024 Racer’s Village is expected to be distributed around Imperial Landing Park. Teams are assigned a 20X10 spot in the park (unsecured and open zone), and are allowed a maximum of 2 10X10 tents (must be weighted down). Stakes are NOT allowed.

• Parking will be available at the Fentiman Place parkade, a short walk away from the race site. Please enter the area on Fentiman Place off Garry Street. The parkade will be located at the end of Fentiman Place. Parking is available for a minimum donation of $10 (all proceeds to Richmond Food Bank and Learning Buddies Network). Parking is limited, so please plan to carpool. The parking lot will open at 7:00 am.. Click here for the map to parking.

Captain/Manager/Steersperson Info Documents

Festival Mandatory Captain/Manager/Steersperson Meeting: A mandatory in-person meeting will be held at 7:45am on Saturday morning near the Marshalling tent.
